We do not accept liability for Any of the above events, or others beyond our control. Loss or damage to personal property, medical or psychiatric conditions developing during or after your break. Your travel insurance policy should cover these and other contingencies </p><h2><strong>Health </strong></h2><p>If you are under medical supervision, you must provide a doctor&rsquo;s certificate confirming your fitness to travel and take part. In any case, all health problems should be disclosed when booking. Alternative View breaks are aimed at adults and for this purpose you must be over the age of 18 (Please contact for more details.) </p><h2>Travel Insurance </h2><p>It is a condition of booking that you have travel insurance, with full cover against sickness and its associated costs </p><h2>Care of your Possessions </h2><p>It is your responsibility to look after and take care of your possessions, valuables and money during your stay. We recommend you do not leave such possessions unattended in your accommodation and therefore suggest you do not bring valuable possessions on holiday unless absolutely necessary. In case of any loss please contact staff </p><h2>No Smoking Policy </h2><p>Smoking is not permitted in any of guest accommodation or inside house area, although there are designated smoking areas within the garden area </p><h2>Pool Policy </h2><p>Alternative View operates a pool policy that does not allow any glass near or around pool area. Pool usage is available to guests for use between the hours of 7.00am -9.00pm. All non swimmers must be accompanied by a competent swimmer </p><h2>Provision of Towels </h2><p>Towels will be provided including separate towels for pool area. If you would like these to be cleaned during your stay please leave on bathroom floor to indicate a change is required </p><h2>Energy Efficiency </h2><p>We work hard to improve our energy efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint on the Environment and we would ask our guests to respect our objectives and switch off lights and electrical appliances if they are not needed </p><h2>Deposits </h2><p>For all breaks/training a &pound;100.00 deposit is required per person. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Final balances must be paid in full 14 days before commencement of break/training course </p><h2>Cancellations </h2><p>All cancellations must be confirmed in writing or email and received no later than 10 days before your break commences </p><h2>Arrival and Departure </h2><p>Suites are made available from 12pm on the day of arrival. Your suite must be vacated by12pm on the day of departure. You are however welcome to use all other facilities on your day of departure up to 4pm. We can not be held responsible for delayed flights either upon arrival or departure </p><h2>Exclusions </h2><p>All information is correct when listed. However, due to mechanical faults, weather conditions, or what insurers call &quot;Acts of God&quot;, some amenities may be temporarily unavailable. Very occasionally, we may have to vary the advertised programme due to staff sickness or other problems, in which case we will always try to provide an equivalent replacement. </p><p>Due to the nature of our therapeutic respite breaks we ask our guest to adhere to the following; </p><ul>    <li>Alternative View adheres to the principles of equality for all and in this sense we embrace diversity and we will actively challenge discriminatory comments and actions which would cause offence to any staff, Guests on our Therapeutic breaks or others who are associated to Alternative View </li>    <li>Our therapeutic respite breaks are focused on support ,we therefore ask you to listen, be non judgmental to all who are involved with Alternative View </li>    <li>It is important to be open-minded to other peoples&acute; opinions and points of view.
